In 1982, Dorothea J. Kingsbury established her
law practices, focusing on probate, estate planning and business and
transactional law serving the interests of individuals and both for-profit
and non-profit corporations. She continues to work with many of her
original clients and has added several generations of the same family
to her client base.
A member of the American, Ohio State and Cleveland
Bar Associations, Dorothea also serves on the Estate Planning Council
of Greater Cleveland and the Northern Ohio Planning Giving Council.
She is admitted to the bars of the Supreme Court of the State of Ohio;
the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Ohio; and the United States
Supreme Court.
A frequent lecturer to student and community groups,
she has an expertise in legal issues confronting non-profit organizations.
She donates legal services to support and promote cultural groups throughout
Ohio. Proud of her heritage, Dorothea is a member of the Scottish-American
Cultural Society of Ohio, serving as Chairman of the Board of Trustees.
She is also a member of the Scottish Heritage Association of Northern
Ohio.
Dorothea grated summa cum laude from Ursuline
College in 1974 with a Bachelor of Arts degree and received her J.D.
from Cleveland State University in 1981.
A native Clevelander, she maintains her offices
in Lyndhurst, Ohio with convenient access to major interstate highways.
